May Wedding

Bridal Party Arrangements made by us and Venue Arrangements made by the Bride using cut flowers supplied by us. The perfect combination for a primarily DIY Wedding.

Bridal Flowers Direct

We love it when Brides send in photographs from their weddings and these stunning ones from the May wedding of Emma and Dan are no exception. The wedding which took place at Earnley Grange, Earnley, Nr Chichester, West Sussex was pretty much a DIY wedding so whilst we made all the Bridal Party arrangements Emma had also ordered cut flowers from us to create her own venue arrangements.

Sweet Avalanche Roses and pale pink Hydrangeas, which complimented the Bridesmaid’s dresses, were combined with Tanacetum Daisies and Gypsophila to add to the summery country look.

The stunning photographs below were all taken by Katy Cain

Southdowns Manor Wedding

Beautiful flowers at one of our recent weddings

Bridal Flowers Direct

We love these photographs sent into us by Kimberley and Josh who were recently married at Southdowns Manor, a stunning wedding venue set in the heart of the South Downs National Park on the Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex borders.

Kimberley had selected Tanacetum Daisies, Gypsophila, Craspedia and Alchemilla Mollis for all the Bouquets and Buttonholes with larger daisy style flowers being used for the Flower Girls  Headdresses and to decorate the cake.

Congratulations and every future happiness to the new Mr & Mrs Blackburn.

Collaborative Photoshoot – Southend Barns

Stunning photographs of the products and services of some very talented Hampshire and West Sussex wedding suppliers – and our flowers look pretty good too!

Bridal Flowers Direct

At the end of last month we shared with you a little taster of a photoshoot we were involved in at Southend Barns, Donnington, nr Chichester.

The photoshoot brought together several Hampshire and West Sussex wedding suppliers all of whom were keen to showcase their particular wedding product or service.

The chosen colour scheme  was a mixed palette of coral, peach and mint green with a hint of gold which all toned beautifully with the rustic but sophisticated setting of the venue and as you will see from the photographs below the end results were stunning.

One Date, One Venue, Two Weddings

Wedding season is now well and truly underway …..

Bridal Flowers Direct

Old Thorns Golf and Country Estate is a regular and favourite wedding venue of ours and so it was only a matter of time before we were asked to supply flowers for two separate weddings on the same day.

Last Saturday we were delighted to provide arrangements for the weddings of Simon and Louise and Steve and Emma.

Simon and Louise who had chosen the hotel’s Grand Ballroom for their wedding wanted a country style feel to their flowers with elements of royal blue. Blue Delphinium, Akito White Roses, White Lisianthus and Gypsophila were used to create all the Bridal Party arrangements. Louise had also requested Cornflowers but as it is currently too early in the year for these, artificial ones were incorporated with the fresh flowers. The wooden table plan had been lovingly created by Simon and contained enamel jugs filled with flowers to give the impression flowers were growing out of…

Bridal Flower Open Day

Some lovely pictures and a write up from our Bridal Flower Open Day last Saturday

Bridal Flowers Direct

It seems unbelievable that it is now almost a week since our Bridal Flower Open Day and for the past few days we have had our ‘wholesaler’s hats’ back on fulfilling all the orders we have received in the build up to the Easter weekend.

We estimate that a staggering 65 Brides attended our Open Day and suffice to say we are more than delighted with this. As always it was such a fun day with everyone commenting on how lovely it is to see so many varieties of flowers and such beautiful arrangements and it is always so pleasing to hear such great comments about our work.

We are now virtually fully booked with Saturday morning consultations for the next few weeks but if you still wish to make an appointment to meet with one of us do let us know as we can always squeeze more in!
