It has been an exceptionally busy week at Nursery Fresh – it has been lovely seeing so many Flower Arrangers from our local Cathedrals and Churches coming in to buy their Easter flowers from us. We have also dispatched several orders for churches further afield via our overnight delivery service.
We wish you all a very happy Easter and look forward to seeing you all again in the coming months – fingers crossed for a busy wedding season too

A lovely email to share with you from a customer who picked up an order from us last week for her son’s wedding. Whilst we had been asked to supply the Bridal Party Arrangements, the Groom’s Mother wished to create the church and marquee arrangements herself.
Very many thanks for supplying such amazing flowers for us. Sarah was absolutely thrilled with the bouquets, you got them just right.
I’ve attached a few photos of the end result, I was quite proud of myself!
Thank you, Tessa.
The pictures below show just what can be created using flowers supplied by us.
Yesterday morning we were delighted to welcome Nina Bates and her team of helpers from Chidham Church to sort the flowers for their Flower Festival. Over the past few weeks we have been working with Nina on her flower order which we then purchased directly from our suppliers in Holland. To save time on their set up day, it was decided that a small team would come over to our warehouse so they could sort the flowers into individual orders. We then delivered the flowers directly to the Church this morning.
The Flower Festival, entitled “Magna Carta – The Flowering of Democracy,” takes place at St Mary’s Church, Cot Lane, Chidham, West Sussex on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th June from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and on Sunday 21st June from 12.30 – 6 p.m. Entry is free and refreshments will be available.
As you can see from the photographs below the ladies all had great fun sorting their flowers
Apologies for the lack of posts recently but we are currently inundated with Summer weddings – from flower supply only for DIY Brides and Flower Arrangers to full wedding packages via our wedding section Bridal Flowers Direct
The pictures below show last week’s delivery direct from our suppliers in Holland followed by the inside of our cold store and some of the arrangements we created for the 10 weddings we supplied last weekend!
If you know of anyone who is planning a wedding or any other event in the coming months do put them in touch with us – whatever the level of help they require we are more than happy to help and remember our overnight courier service means we can send cut flowers to any location – home, venue or church – in mainland UK
Sally and Clare were delighted to attend the Preview Evening for the Bosham Church Flower Festival which took place over the Bank Holiday weekend. Below are photographs of some of the wonderful arrangements which were inspired by sections of the Bayeux Tapestry.
Our warehouse is currently ‘buzzing’ with Church flower arrangers calling to collect their Easter flowers. From Carnations, Chrysanthemums, Lilies, Lisianthus and Roses to Daffodils, Iris, Narcissi and Tulips our cold store is full of flowers in shades of cream, white and yellow.
Amidst the Easter preparations we managed to fit in a demonstration last weekend led by North Tonbridge Flower Association Chairman Gill Smaggasgale. Gill has been a customer of ours for several years, ordering flowers via our overnight courier service, and happened to let slip one day that she had recently qualified as a Demonstrator.
Her demonstration entitled ‘Listening in Colour’ was based upon song titles and during the course of the afternoon Gill created designs depicting the following songs – “Chicago My Kind of Town”, “Summertime and the Living is Easy”, “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend”, “Moonriver”, The Girl from Ipanema” and “It’s a wonderful World”. Whilst arranging Gill also entertained us with the origins and story behind each of the songs.
We have had some lovely feedback and comments from those who attended and it was a most enjoyable way to spend a Spring afternoon as the following photographs show
