Once again Nursery Fresh were thrilled to be asked to supply the homecoming bouquets for one of the Royal Navy’s Type 45 Destroyers, HMS Diamond, which returns to Portsmouth today. The bouquets were taken to meet a Royal Navy motor launch, in the early hours of this morning, which took them out to meet the ship ready for its return.
This is the third time that Nursery Fresh Ltd have been asked to provide the flowers for a ship returning home, the last one being HMS Dauntless in November, sister ship of HMS Diamond.
Nursery Fresh have very close connections with the Royal Navy, providing flowers to several Mess balls and wedding flowers to many serving personnel this year.

Nursery Fresh hosted the third of it’s flower workshops today.
Ten ladies were treated to a demonstration by Nursery Fresh designer Rebecca Warwick, before creating their own fantastic Christmas table decorations to take home.
Nursery Fresh plans to host several of these intimate workshops throughout next year, with varying themes.
With a maximum of only 10 participants, a relaxed and enjoyable time is guaranteed .
If you are interested in participating in a workshop, or can get together 8-10 friends for your own private class, then call Sally Waddington on 023 9259 1422 for details.
Nursery Fresh were delighted to host a Christmas themed demonstration by Karla Bell last night.
Sixty amateur and semi-professional flower arrangers were treated to two hours of Karla’s superb arranging and wicked sense of humour, whilst she created a variety of designs with a Christmas theme.
Karla, NDSF & ICSF, is head of floristry at Portsmouth’s Highbury College and is well known throughout the flower industry.

Following last years successful event, The Brookfield Hotel in Emsworth said a festive ‘thank you’ to companies who regularly use the hotel for business conferences and corporate lunches and dinners, by treating the staff, who make the bookings, to a master class in Christmas Wreath making given by Nursery Fresh Flowers.
The demonstration was given by Rebecca Warwick, who previously owned Emsworth Flowers and who now, following a break to have children, is a floral designer for the Horndean based florists. Nursery Fresh Managing Director, Sally Waddington and Company Secretary Claire Wadsworth were on hand to give advice to the participants.
The evening was the first of two hosted by the hotel and the ladies enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing and therapeutic ninety minutes sipping mulled wine, eating mince pies and creating some superb wreaths which they were then able to take home.
If your company would like to offer clients or staff a relaxing and therapeutic ‘floral experience’ at any time of the year, then contact Sally Waddington who will give you details of our workshops.
